Position: Billing Assistant
Location: Downtown Little Rock Law Firm
Role: Legal Billing
Consideration: Legal billing preferred, will consider medical billing experience
Salary: $42,000 - $52,000 (commensurate with experience)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm w/ 1 hour lunch.

We are seeking a detailed-oriented Billing Assistant for a law firm in downtown Little Rock. The role involves managing accounts receivable and payable, preparing statements, processing electronic billing, and handling various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare statements and process electronic billing.
• Handle client payments, collections, and file management.
• Perform administrative tasks including reception duties and mail processing.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow client billing guidelines.
• Use legal accounting software (Tabs), client billing websites, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Qualifications:

• Experience in legal or medical billing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Professional appearance and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
